Christopher Butson (priest)

Butson was the son of an Archdeacon of Clonfert, The Ven. James Strange Butson;〔

He was the Rector of Clontarf and then the Dean of Kilmacduagh from 1874〔“Fasti ecclesiae Hibernicae : the succession of the prelates and members of the Cathedral bodies of Ireland” Cotton,H: Dublin : James Charles & Son, 1878〕 until his death on 13 June 1892.〔''Deaths.''
